Chapter 10.8 - Celebrations

That evening we look through some of the papers in the box but we didn't have time to get far. We had wedding plans to finish, our wedding was barely two days away, and Ando's birthday was tomorrow.

The next day I set the cake out and we all gathered around as I brought Ando over. Colton and I were both extremely nervous, we feared Ando would look like his father, which caused us to hesitate before I blew the candle out and set Ando down.

As Ando stopped spinning and the sparkles faded away our worst fears had come true. He did look like Ricardo and he was a vampire just like his father.

We tried to ignore that for now and instead enjoyed some cake and began teaching Ando everything we could. We couldn't believe how fast Ando picked things up, faster than a normal toddler.

The next day was full of excitement as it was almost time for Colton and I to become newlyweds. We arrived at the church with plenty of time to spare, the church looked beautiful! We were having a small wedding, no media or paparazzi. The media thought we were still getting married in a month in France.

After exchanging our vows we moved the party to our house for the reception. Everyone had a lot of fun, there was lots of food, cake of course, and lots of music and dancing.

When everyone left, mum and dad took Ando for a small trip so Colton and I could have at least one night alone. This was the closest we had every been and we had an amazing night together.

Colton and I had gigs two weeks later and in the middle of our shows we both announced our marriage and that we were expecting an addition to our family. 8 months later we did just that and welcomed Mika and Mira into our loving family.
